FORT CORNWALLIS YOUNG ARCHAEOLOGISTS’ PROGRAMME
The Fort Cornwallis Young Archaeologists’ Programme is an initiative by the George Town Conservation and Development Corporation (GTCDC) and University Sains Malaysia (USM).
Venue: Fort Cornwallis
Date: 1. 19/8/2017 & 26/8/2017
2. 23/9/2017 & 30/9/2017 (Based on your option)
Time: 9:00a.m. – 12:00p.m.
Fee: Free of charge
The Young Archaeologists will participate in excavation, mapping and recording, finds processing and artefact conservation over two sessions on consecutive Saturdays.Participants will be guided by professional archaeologists from USM and will receive free admission to Fort Cornwallis. Parent or guardians of participant are welcome to observe the activities.
